Chester scores 1st hat-trick in Mozambique
Mozambique-based attacker Yamikani Chester is enjoying a rich vein of form in Mozambique where he netted the flagship Mocambola League’s first hat-trick of the season on Sunday.
The former Mighty Wanderers star scored the three goals as his team UD Songo swept aside reigning champions Black Bulls 4-0 according to sofa.com.

To add extra spice, the on-and-off Flames winger was named player of the match, his second successive accolade, having bagged a similar award last week.
Chester has taken his tally to four goals and is among the leading scorers.
The report said in Sunday’s match, the gangly attacker opened the score sheet in the 35th minute before Dominigues doubled their lead five minutes later.
Chester made it 3-0 in the 42nd minute before scoring his third and UD Songo’s fourth in the 82nd minute.
The victory saw UD Songo maintaining their grip at the pinnacle of the table with 23 points, having won seven, drawn twice and lost once.
Ferroviario de Lichinga are second with 20 points and have played a game more.
Chester could not be reached for comment yesterday.
He joined UD Songo from another Mozambican top-flight side Costa Do Sol alongside his compatriot Richard Mbulu earlier this year
